Crazy Inventions

Crazy Inventions

Because technology has reached unprecedented limits, how about some really crazy inventions that have succeed, more or less:

The electric cigarette- it's quite common these days among people who are actually trying to quit smoking. Let's forget about the fact that you're putting an electric stick into your mouth and concentrate on the important facts, which are your health and your wellbeing.

The gigantic lighter- Made for entertainment purposes only, it actually exists. However, it's kind of creepy to ask for a light and get a fireplace instead.

The Umbrella tube- it's kind of double crazy but if you care for your wardrobe just grab the umbrella tube and be immune to the rain. However, I'm not sure how you're going to actually walk.

Diet water-is probably the craziest of them all. Can you believe that it actually exists? I'm not sure what the ingredients say, but grab a dictionary and decipher the Chinese language to figure it out.

Patent- The Right to Invent

Filed in archive Overview on July 8, 2010

Patent- The Right to Invent
© Ismael Olea
A patent is essentially a limited monopoly whereby the patent holder is granted the exclusive right by the national government, to make, use, and sell the patented innovation for a limited period of time. The specific area of law which is used to enforce patent rights is known as patent law. The procedure for granting patents, the requirements placed on the patentee, and the extent of the exclusive rights vary widely between countries according to national laws and international agreements.
The primary requirements for patentability are:
• Patentable subject matter: This requirement addresses the issue of which types of inventions will be considered for invention
• Utility: The invention must be useful.
• Novelty: Novelty requires that the invention was not known or used by others in the country.
• Enablement: The enablement requirement is directly related to the specification, or disclosure, which must be included as part of every patent application.
For acquiring a patent, patent applications are to be submitted first.

Got an Idea, use your own invention to be free from the job market

Got an Idea, use your own invention to be free from the job market
© Tom Raftery

If you are finding the job market just doesn't have a job for you, turn your mind to inventing. One young man from California did just that the day he lost his job. And now, a short time later he has a much in demand product on the market.

With all the iPads being bought, it was perfect time to invent a multiple purpose case. Tim Angel says he has been coming up with ideas and inventions since he was a kid. After coming up with his design he made a prototype out of cardboard and headed to China to find a manufacturer.

It would seem that Tim Angel will be employed for the foreseeable future as other companies are talking to him about designing cases for their products.

So if you think you have some great ideas, do what Tim Angel did. Don't wait for a job to find its way to you, invent your own.
